Intergames Slovenia interview for e-Game spectrum magazine

We asked Primož Bohinc, Regional Sales Manager of Intergames, several questions about his company and the gaming industry as a whole.

1. What are your motives to participate in BEGE?

Our main motive is to present our wide product portfolio to the Bulgarian casino operators. Currently we are intensively showcasing our products, so participation in BEGE will offer us an opportunity to meet all existing and potential customers from the region.

2. What are your expectations for the exhibition?

As we are a newcomer on the market, our expectations are connected with new potential customers who haven’t had a chance to get familiar with our products, so they will be able to convince themselves on site about the quality of our products and the potential they have for their operations.

3. What are the trends in the gaming industry globally?

In our opinion current trends mostly apply to the change of traditional casino business to entertainment. We live in a changing world and casino operators will have to create new players/gamers in order to keep and grow their land-based operation in the future. Younger “IT” generations will only be attracted and brought to traditional casinos if they find high-end premium products equipped with latest technology.

4. How your company manages to keep pace with these developments (new products, concepts)?

Our principals Konami Gaming, Gary Platt and Cummins Allison, all leading manufacturers and global trendsetters of the casino business are spending a lot of their resources especially for development of innovative products which keeps us in every moment ahead of the competition. We are regularly releasing new products on the markets, so it is hard to name them all, but if we have to point out the most important for Bulgarian market it would definitely be Konami’s Multigame feature Selexion and Community Played Linked Progressive called Beat the Field, Gary Platt’s improved ergonomics on their casino chairs and Cummins Allison’s iFX 1, 2 and multipocket series Note and Ticket scanners.
