Balkanfon Extends Preferred Supplier Agreement with CPI

Major operator in Bulgaria to continue specifying 100% SC Advance note acceptors. Balkanfon Ltd., distributor for two of the largest gaming operators in Bulgaria – Sesame and Black Sea Casino – has extended its preferred supplier agreement with Crane Payment Innovations (CPI), a Crane Co. Company. Having already specified SC note acceptors since 2006, Balkanfon will continue to specify SC Advance on all new and existing games for at least two more years.

SC Advance evolved from the CASHFLOW SC note acceptor to further improve upon the key performance attributes responsible for operator profitability and player satisfaction – acceptance rate, jam rate, security and total cost of ownership. Specific enhancements include an improved recognition system, increased noteset memory, faster note-to-note speed and additional protection against fraudulent note constructions. This dramatic leap in performance has helped grow the installed field base of SC note acceptors to more than 2 million units worldwide.

Balkanfon rents and services slot machines to the Black Sea Casino, the largest casino in Varna with more than 100 slots, as well as to the twenty additional gaming locations across Bulgaria. In total, Balkanfon manages more than 1350 slot machines and automated roulette multiplayers that have been fitted with CASHFLOW SC and SC Advance note acceptors.
