Bulgarian MPs to discuss amendments to Gambling Act

 Bulgarian National Assembly is to discuss at first reading amendments to the Gambling Act. The amendments were introduced by Yordan Tsonev, MP with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), and some other MPs. They provide for a fee on the right to offering gambling services on the territory of Bulgaria, which will be calculated in the same way for all Bulgarian and foreign gambling establishments who have been granted an operating licence.
The items on the draft agenda of today’s plenary sitting are, as follows: amendments and supplements to the Health Act; amendments and supplements to the Health Insurance Act; amendments and supplements to the Physical Education and Sports Act and others.
Bulgarian MPs will also vote on the 2014 State Budget Act Draft Bill at second reading.
