 The Conference on the Gaming Industry in Spain

The "Conference on the Gaming Industry in Spain" (CGiS), which will analyse the situation of the online gaming industry in Spain during the second day of the ICE Totally Gaming fair in London on 6 February, has achieved full attendance by professionals from the Spanish and foreign gaming industry.

This event, organised by the consulting firm JAK Comunicación, has received the collaboration of official entities such as the Directorate General for Gaming Regulation (DGOJ), as well as the company responsible for the fair in London, Clarion, and the sponsorship of ICEX Spain Imports and Investments, R. Franco, Codere, Metronia, GLI, Deloitte, Betware, Cicor, globalvoX and MAG.

The CGiS will take place from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm in the South Gallery (Rooms 3-4). The inaugural address will be given by José Antonio Zamora, Economic & Commercial Counsellor, Head of Spanish Trade Commission in the United Kingdom.

The programme (see complete programme) is comprised of three blocks: "Spanish Regulatory Model", "Spanish Online Gaming Market: The Operators' View" and "Online Gaming Service Providers in Spain". A complete development of the online gaming industry will be given following the opening presentation, "Spanish Online Gaming Regulation: The First Year", by Enrique Alejo, head of the DGOJ.

Following the conference, Spanish wine will be offered at stand S8-350 by R. Franco, within ICE Totally Gaming.

This is the first event abroad on the progress of the online gaming industry in Spain. A continuation of the conference will take place on 17 April 2013 in Madrid, during the Spanish iGaming Summit (SiGS 2013), also organised by the consulting firm JAK Comunicación.
