Tombola, William Hill, 888 and Google to discuss Innovations in Online Bingo Industry

Online Bingo attracts 100 million players worldwide. New opportunities are arising daily but strategic problems persist for operators when trying to expand into mobile, multi-screen and Facebook platforms. This is preventing the expansion of many operators’ businesses.

In a recent UK Gambling Commission report, 11% of the poll’s respondents said they had engaged in remote gambling. SreeramVanga, CEO of Cozy Games, who has been concentrating on the mobile market has picked up on this recent shift: ‘Players want to play bingo on the move and operators are capitalising, winning new customers and expanding the amount of time they are playing.’

Simon Collins the founder of Party Gaming, has recently shifted his focus onto the Facebook opportunity stating that it will allow operators to ‘…create a new form of user engagement, where players do not win actual cash prizes, and where the games harness a global audience irrespective of legality.’

Yet questions persist as to how to monetize these products and how it will develop into the future.

At the Online Bingo Summit on 19-20 in London both Simon Collins and SreeramVanga will be joined by the biggest operators including William Hill, 888, Google, Tombola, , Ladbrokes, Mecca, Unibet, Probability, Sky, Endemol, to discuss what these opportunities actually mean.

Tom Sapsted, Head of BullletBussiness was recently reported as saying ‘…it will be the best opportunity for bingo operators to come together to see what their competition are doing to stay ahead of the game.’

The 7th Annual Online Bingo Summit has attracted over 1000 delegates in its history and is the only meeting place exclusively for the online bingo operators. Along with the focus on multi-screen and Facebook bingo, it will also hold open discussions on the effect consolidation has had on the industry and the new markets which present the best opportunity for growth.
