Expanded Education Conference and Learning Opportunities Offered at IAAPA Expo Asia 2019

 

Registration Now Open for Attractions Industry’s Premier Event in Asia Featuring DiverseEducation Sessions and In-Depth Programs

 

ORLANDO, Fla., US (16 May 2019) – Global attractions industry professionals will gather inShanghai, China, 11-14 June 2019, to learn from global industry experts during the robusteducation conference offered at IAAPA Expo Asia 2019 (formerly Asian Attractions Expo).The conference, which takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre is ownedand produced by IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry.

 

Expo participants can take part in an expanded education conference that includes morethan 10 general education sessions covering a wide range of subjects including safety,marketing plans, revenue operations, human resources, visual media technology, datamining, and more. All sessions will be simultaneously translated in English and MandarinChinese, and attendees are eligible to receive eight (8) credit hours toward IAAPACertification, the official mark of professional achievement in the global attractions industry.

IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers

 

Taking place 9-11 June, this professional development program is designed for leaders withfive or fewer years of experience in attractions management. The two-and-a-half-dayprogram offers a blend of classroom instruction led by experts, case study examinations,and small group presentations that address finance, marketing, leadership, facilityoperations, safety, and revenue operations. Participants present throughout all sessionsearn 16 credit hours toward IAAPA Certification.

 

IAAPA Safety Institute

 

On 11 June, this program provides an opportunity for attractions owners and operators tolearn about the latest developments and best practices in ride safety standards, lossprevention, risk management, ride design, and safety compliance. This program is eligiblefor credit toward IAAPA Certification.Participants earn four credit hours toward IAAPACertification.
