Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo it’s a great place for networking, how did you come to this idea?

Since it’s inception in 2008 we realized that the Balkan and Eastern European region in particular at that time needed a specialist event dedicated to our industry which was undergoing radical expansion. Therefore we concluded that to promote a dedicated event would be in the interests of the gaming, entertainment, and hospitality sectors of the business would be welcomed. From the very start support superseded all expectations and the growth year on year was phenomenal. We cannot emphasize that the cooperation and support levels we received from companies that took the original plunge and committed to a broader sphere of thinking, marketing, and promotion was above expected levels. Please let me extend the warmest welcome to all participating parties concerned.

How much time takes preparation to a new exhibition and how many professionals are involved?

First of all thank you for your interest of BEGE! Frequently the preparation of such an exciting trade show is a big challenge. Every year our main goal is to offer an exclusive program which set new standards for the future of one of the fastest developing industries worldwide – the gaming industry. I am proud and grateful to be head of young professional team which inspires me constantly. Together we are improving the efficiency and managing to confirm the event position as the leading gaming and entertainment in Eastern and Central Europe.

Affiliates are very important igaming market participants, how many affiliates on average attend your exhibition?

By keeping track of recent trends in the field, we can undoubtedly say that the   affiliate marketing is major part of the igaming industry and an important source of income for gaming operators due to this our team strive to attract and support successful affiliates. During last edition 5% of the segments were represented by affiliates, for the 12th BEGE in 2019 we expect the number to increase.

12th addition of BEGE will take place on 20-21 November at Inter Expo Center, Sofia, Bulgaria, what new and special are you going to present for visitors?

BEGE 2019 is coming with a whole host of new products, trends, innovations, technology developments and solutions set to be unveiled by the industry leaders and new emerging gaming companies. Among the initiatives are: Startup zone, Innovation zone and Sales Pitch zone – projects, which we intend to continue developing further in 2019. Strong focuses of mobile applications and of course – implementation of AI in the gaming industry. Here is the place to mention the precisely selected accompanying events which are going to cause visitors interest in 2019. BEGE Awards will come more glamour than ever to honor individuals and companies for significant contribution and excellent achievements in the gaming, entertainment and leisure Industry. Once again the official award will be held during the annual epic BEGE Party on the first exhibition day. Of course we are working closely with different universities which we invite each year to the BEGE career center where all interested students who wants to build career in the gaming and entertainment filed could find information for available positions and join our volunteer program.  

Please share with us your plans for future, what should we expect from BEGE?

With the team behind the event are working hard on improving the event and surprising the visitors every year. This November we would like to provide better opportunities for networking and business to all our exhibitors and visitors. We are planning to expand the sectors presented at the show and to work for inviting more and valuable visitors for example to make the Online gaming business another strong part of the event. From marketing perspective we will offer improved sponsorship options and marketing activities which to aloud better presence and brand awareness and of course maximum business focused concomitant events during the show.
