Spain publishes Annual Gambling Report
On 11 July 2011, the Spanish Ministry for Home Affairs published its Annual Gambling Report for 2010. According to the review, the sector's turnover reached 27.338 million Euros and directly employed around 100.000 people.

The report is produced based on the figures for the activities of privately managed casinos, casinos and gaming and amusement machines outside casinos, as well as games operated by Spain's official State Lottery, Loterias y Apuestas del Estado (LAE) and Spanish foundation ONCE. The report reflects a slight downturn in the activity of gaming halls operating category "B" machines.
