18/05/11 – The Hungarian Presidency presented its report “Framework for Gambling and Betting – Regulatory cooperation between Member States” to the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER). The document analyses the current forms of cooperation between regulatory authorities, possible elements of enhanced regulatory cooperation and the potential use of the Internal Market Information System (IMI) in the field of gambling. The Competitiveness Council is expected to adopt the Presidency Report on 30-31 May 2011.
