The Responsible gaming project was ranked among the nominated projects of the 8th Annual Responsible Business Awards held by Bulgarian Business Leaders forum.
This year 59 projects of 37 leading companies and organizations were competing for the prestigious awards.
The organizers from BBLF stated that it was an honor for them that so many companies chose to participate in the annual Responsible Business Awards and this is how the good socially-responsible business practices receive recognition and serve to encourage other business leaders to start or further develop their socially responsible activities.
The scale of the event was once again grand and over 300 leading business representatives, diplomats and government officials gathered at the Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan at the Awarding ceremony. The government once again expressed their support of the socially responsible initiatives and among the official guests at the ceremony were Ministers Traycho Traykov, Totyu Mladenov, Nona Karadjova, Sergei Ignatov and Svilen Neikov along with Ms. Yordanka Fandakova, Mayor of Sofia.
The nominations were submitted in 5 general categories, including: Investor in Human Capital, Investor in Community, Investor in Environment, Investor in Knowledge, and Cause related marketing, where the Responsible Gaming project was nominated along with the projects of: Danone Serdika, Procter & Gamble, E.ON Bulgaria, M-Tel Application Factory and Amgen Bulgaria.
Started at the beginning of 2008 the Responsible Gaming project of BTAMOGI is the first fully developed strategy for problem gambling prevention and cultivating of responsible and balanced attitude toward the game. The project is currently closing the 3rd stage from its strategic plan with the launch of the official web-site and informational forum, both to start working on 1st of March 2011 at http://www.otgovorna-igra.com/ .
