ThinkGaming.je, the leading online gaming consultancy, has launched a new social media audit service, believed to be one of the first in the industry.
The Jersey-based company has developed the service to inform gaming companies of the many social media channels now available and how they can be utilised for both acquisition and retention marketing.
The service will also alert clients of the importance of protecting a brands Intellectual Property and identity against so-called “social cyber squatters”, who take over the brands identity on social media sites, making it difficult and costly for the brand to register their own name.
Phil Shaw, of ThinkGaming.je, explains more:
“We are finding that customers are unaware of the huge range of social media channels out there, only focussing on the key players such as Facebook and Twitter. Social media is a huge market for customer retention and by not embracing all channels that are available customers are really missing out.
“This lack of awareness also means companies they are also risking having their brand identity taken over.
