LONDON (24 January) – True to its status as being a window on the global market, ICE Totally Gaming is hosting a high-level business breakfast which will examine the future of gaming in Asia and ask whether the continent will continue to be the primary driver of the global gaming market.
In association with the inaugural Japan Gaming Congress (JgC), the Asia Breakfast Focus will be moderated by Rosalind Wade, Managing Director, Asia Gambling Brief and will feature keynote speakers including Richard Magnus, Chairman, Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore, - Toru Mihara, Director The Institute of Amusement Industry Studies, Osaka University of Commerce and Harish Narayanan, Head of Asia Pacific, Paddy Power.
Previewing the Asia Breakfast Focus, Portfolio Director Kate Chambers said: "We will be holding the first Japan Gaming Congress (JgC) in Tokyo in May (14th/15th/16th) and the Breakfast will serve as an opportunity to preview the main issues which will be debated. Casino advocates have been waiting ten years for a law to bring resort-scale gambling to the world's third largest economy and the Japan Gaming Congress will be the first opportunity for the main stakeholders and government officials to discuss the optimal regulatory and investment models to develop casino resorts in the country. We are honoured to have such a panel of distinguished speakers who will be providing their expert insight on this most important gaming opportunity."
The Asia Breakfast Focus takes place at ICE Totally Gaming, Wednesday 5th February, South Gallery Rooms 7 & 8. The full agenda can be seen at www.icetotallygaming.com/ten-asia-breakfast-programme. Places are limited but if you would like to attend please email danielle.mclean@clarionevents.com quoting Asia Breakfast.
