The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) is celebrating 15 years of global collaboration and standards development for the gaming industry. Now GSA will bring its message, successful past and vision for an even brighter future to G2E Asia. GSA will be in stand 700.
GSA’s global collaborative efforts have resulted in landmark and award-winning standards. Additionally, GSA’s vision for the future has resulted in a new generation of engineers thoroughly familiar with GSA standards. The graduates are now schooled and ready for the world of tomorrow, thanks to GSA’s partnership with the Macao Polytechnic Institute Technology Program. The first class graduates this summer.
“It was the GSA standard that really stimulated us and gave us the idea for the program,” Dr. Rita Tse, Coordinator of the Computing Program, said. “That was very exciting for us, and together we hope to bring that talent and technology to Macao. We wanted to make a contribution to the community. Our goal is to create innovators.”
At G2E Asia, GSA will discuss its standards and its upcoming Open Forum, which takes place on June 11 at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, Nevada. The forum will present GSA’s latest updates for its standards, technical initiatives, internal processes, and valuable information on new developments from the Operators Advisory Committee, and finally, the launch of GSA’s new Online Gaming initiative.
GSA President Peter DeRaedt said, “This is an exciting time in the gaming industry, in the land-based, online and lottery sectors. As an independent organization, GSA is uniquely positioned to bring all of these varied interests together to collaborate on the future and to create a pathway for us to get here.”
There is a GSA membership level for every company of every size and of every budget. For information, visit www.gamingstandards.com.
