31/08/12 – The Remote Gambling Association (RGA) has published technical guidelines, which are intended to support regulators in designing efficient and effective technical standards for the online gambling industry. With this document, the RGA aims to contribute to a higher degree of consistency in the approach taken by regulators across jurisdictions.
05/09/12 – The Belgian Gaming Commission has included ten additional gaming websites to its existing blacklist of unauthorised online gaming operators. The list, created in February 2012, now consists of 45 operators that are subject to IP blocking.
03/09/12 – In Germany, the Hessen Ministry of the Interior has extended the deadline for the submission of applications for the 20 German sports-betting licenses that are available under the new Interstate Treaty on Gambling. Operators now have until 12 September to submit the relevant documents.
