REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, A NECESSARY EVIL OR CULTURE? is a panel that has as speakers confirmed personalities recognized in the industry, personalities permanently invited to seminars and international conferences.
The REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, A NECESSARY EVIL OR CULTURE panel is part of the Central European Gambling Summit 20 – CEGS20, an event that will take place from March 10 to 11 at the Magic Place Grant in Bucharest.
The panel is the first session of the BMM mark of CEGS20 and will be moderated by André Wilsenach, Senior Vice-President, Government Relations at BMM International and has invited speakers to discuss the legislation, as well as other important issues related to compliance and regulation.

Francesco Rodano – Chief Policy Officer, Playtech
Francesco Rodano, born in Rome, is Playtech’s Chief Policy Officer. He engages with policy-makers and stakeholders in both regulated and emerging markets. He advises the company on governmental policies at local, state, national and EU levels, with a strong focus on responsible gambling.
From 2007 to 2016 Francesco worked for the Italian government as online gambling regulator, developing from scratch the national regulatory framework and guiding the growth of the legal market from zero to over €1bn – making it the second largest in Europe.
Francesco has more than 20 years’ experience in e-business related jobs. He began his career in IT, then worked in a variety of B2B roles for private companies, eventually specialising in international public affairs.
Throughout the two days of the event, a boutique-style B2B exhibition will work in parallel.
