Schott to Share Insights on Emerging Trends and New Developments Affecting the Attractions Industry

ORLANDO, Fla., US (April 16, 2019) – IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has announced Joe Schott, president and general manager, Shanghai Disney Resort, will address attractions industry professionals as the Leadership Breakfast keynote speaker on Thursday, 13 June, during IAAPA Expo Asia 2019.  The attractions industry’s premier event in Asia will take place 11-14 June at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China.

Schott, a 37-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company, will share insights on emerging trends and new developments affecting the attractions industry at this year’s Leadership Breakfast. As president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, Schott leads a dynamic group of cast members across a wide variety of business lines for the world’s newest Disney resort. Prior to his current position, he served as senior vice president of operations for Shanghai Disney Resort and brought a wealth of expertise in park management, operational safety development, and guest service to further enhance the overall guest experience and ensure the resort maintained a best-in-class operation.


The Leadership Breakfast provides senior-level attractions industry professionals the opportunity to learn and network with regional and global colleagues and connect with owners and corporate executives from facilities and suppliers.
