The MGS Entertainment Show will be pioneering a change to the way trade exhibitions showcase their exhibitors and partners on the global stage. As part of the expo's three year vision, MGS organisers are finalising the rebuild of their new-look website with the aim of keeping the exhibition 'open' 52 weeks a year. Moving away from the conventional static online presence for exhibition organisers, MGS will be relaunching its site this month with the emphasis on daily news from the local and international industry, developments and initiatives from within its exhibiting community and updates from trade association MGEMA and its international colleagues.
MGS will be launching its new website in the coming weeks with the aim of delivering a 'one stop' access point for news, product and market trends. Including special industry, exhibitor, commercial and product news, the site will also provide a media round-up, interviews and opinion leaders from key figures throughout the broad based gaming, leisure and entertainment industry.
Available in Chinese and English, with translation options in all languages, the news-styled website will also be working closely with its media partners to expand the delivery of the content which will be drawn from all sectors of the industry and across the globe.
Elf Hui, Exhibition Manager, said: "Of course, a show website is there to provide the key information about your event. But MGS sits at the heart of a significant business community - not just through its owners - the top 150 gaming companies in Asia - but also its exhibitors and visitors from around the world. Because MGS is a unique show on the world stage - the fact that it's owned by the industry, and run by the industry places us in a different zone to our exhibitor colleagues. We probably have more of a duty to deliver a networking forum outside of the show's three days, and a responsibility to keep the trading momentum going throughout the year. That's the rationale behind the new site and over the next three years, we are hoping to bring this online philosophy through and deliver a permanent 24/7 platform for our partners."
