Ainsworth has made a significant step for its French customers. Not only has Ainsworth opened a brand new office in France – Ainsworth France has gained the licence from the French government to act as a SFM. Ainsworth France can therefore directly distribute Ainsworth slot machines and games to the operators in France and provide direct support as well.
The managing director of Ainsworth France is Mr. Thierry Aiglon, an industry expert with over twelve years of experience in gaming – both on the manufacturing and distribution front. Ainsworth France is situated close to the city of Nice in southeast France and is an entirely owned subsidiary of Ainsworth (UK) Ltd.
Len Ainsworth, celebrating this year 63 years in the gaming industry, comments on the significance of the creating of Ainsworth France as follows, “The French gaming market is one of the most important in Europe, particularly taking into account that there is no street market in France. Given our successes in Australia, Asia and America, I am confident we can mirror this success in France. We see it as essential in being able to work hand-in-hand with our customers and that explains we have further invested in this market so as to be able to sell directly our gaming solutions to the operators”.
“We are particularly proud of having received the SFM licence”, explains Thierry Aiglon. “This puts us in a strong strategic advantage as we perform the sales and service of our gaming machines directly. The timing is excellent with the ICE fast approaching. We will all be there at ICE to support our customers. We look forward to seeing them there”.
Ainsworth will be exhibiting at the ICE between 2nd and 4th February at the ExCel Centre in London – stand # N3-120.
