Take a tour around the igaming world at CasinoBeats Summit 2022

CasinoBeats Summit 2022 is set to provide delegates with a whirlwind tour of the igaming world when the Global Casino conference track presents in-depth examinations of the latest developments in both emerging and established markets.

The igaming industry conference and exhibition takes place on 24-26 May, when 2,000 delegates will gather at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta to hear from 160 expert speakers and view the next generation of technology and games.

While the event is being staged on an island that can claim to be the leading international hub for the high-growth online casino industry, it will look much further afield for its insights and ideas.

The Global Casino track is scheduled for 25 and 26 May, and will feature expert speakers including Ariel Reem (CEO, Genesis Global), Eric Olders (CEO, JOI Gaming), Joanna Hojjati (Partner, KPMG Canada), David Flynn (CEO, Glitnor Group), Adi Dhandhania (COO, Bally’s Interactive), Christopher Dalli (CEO, L&L Europe), David Plumi (Regional Managing Director for Spain and LatAm, PressEnter Group) and Stefan Esch Schulte (Managing Director, Eyas Gaming).

After an opening keynote address by Carl Brincat, the CEO of the Malta Gaming Authority, attention will switch to the most exciting emerging markets, with a series of roundtable discussions about the opportunities in Canada, the US, Brazil, India, Japan, Africa, and Latin America.

The experts ready to answer delegates’ questions about the markets include Chris Looney (CCO, Bragg Gaming), Dolan Beuthin (CEO, BetMonsta), Christina Thakor-Rankin (Principal Consultant, 1710 Gaming & Board Member, All India Gaming Federation), Johan Styren (CEO, Dilanti Media), Susan Hensel (Founder & Partner, Hensel Grad) and Samantha Asensi (iGaming Consultant & Co-Founder of Affiliate Summit LatAm).

The roundtables will be followed by panel sessions focusing on the vital issues of player protection in the UK market and what the Swedish regulator’s move to clampdown on black market casinos means for licensed operators. The focus will then move across the Atlantic, with sessions about the opportunities for overseas businesses in the new Ontario market, and the prospects for further US states legalising igaming.

On 26 May, the Global Casino track will examine two of Europe’s newest regulated markets. The ‘Germany: A Transitioning Market’ session will see local experts sharing insights on how the industry has adapted to the stipulations of the new State Treaty on Gambling, before panelists on the ‘Netherlands: Not for the Faint Hearted’ session discuss the impact of advertising restrictions on competition from new market entrants.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the Spanish market ahead of the anticipated new Royal Decree on Safer Gambling, as well as to discover what it takes for international operators to succeed in Latin American markets.

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of Summit organiser SBC, said: “Detailed information about international expansion opportunities is one of the things that our audience of igaming operators, affiliates and suppliers is most interested in, but it can be very hard to find.

“With the CasinoBeats Summit’s Global Casino track, we will meet that demand for knowledge by providing insights from a selection of leading experts on markets around the world, who will be sharing information on topics including regulatory developments, local player tastes, and how to identify the best opportunities.”

The CasinoBeats Summit conference also features tracks dedicated to the next generation of slots, the future of online casinos, industry leadership and marketing.

Away from the conference rooms, attendees will have the opportunity to get a first look at the latest innovations from 40 leading suppliers in the exhibition and games lounge, and to enjoy three nights of evening networking parties in Malta’s most stylish venues.
