Next month’s CasinoBeats Summit 2021 conference and exhibition is set to offer some invaluable insights into the most attractive opportunities for igaming operators in newly-regulated and soon-to-be regulated markets around the world.
The agenda for the opening day of CasinoBeats Summit, 14 July, features the New Markets track, which will see renowned experts sharing their knowledge of planned regulatory regimes and exchanging ideas about strategies for success in territories opening up to the online casino industry.
All the sessions in the New Markets track will take place on the digital conference stage and be broadcast live online.
It will open with the Emerging Markets: Meeting the Needs of Players You’ve Never Met session, which will address the crucial question of how to ensure operators understand the tastes and requirements of local players before launching in a new territory.
The panel features speakers with experience of a wide variety of European, CIS and Asian markets, including Ross Parkhill (Managing Director, Rhino Entertainment Group), Eirik Kristiansen (CEO, Pixel Digital), Andrea Belezza (VP of EU and Asia Pacific Markets, KaFe Rocks), Ionut Constantinescu (Head of Casino, Game Lounge Group), and Ilya Machavariani (Senior Partner, CEO, 4H Agency).
Attention will then turn to the imminent changes in the German market and what the new licensing system, tax regime, and player protection regulations mean for the industry.
The Germany: A Sleeping Giant? panel will see Nico Reussenzehn (Country Manager – Germany, Rootz), Matej Novota (Data & Complaints Department Lead, Casino Guru), Sebastian Erfurth (Project Manager, Oddspedia.com) and Johannes Brecher (Senior Director Accounts – iGaming, Lead Link) assess whether Germany really is 2021’s biggest opportunity for operators and affiliates.
The focus will then move to one of Germany’s neighbours, the Netherlands, which is also launching a new regulated online gaming market this year. Experts including Koen Bongers (Head of Marketing, Blexr) and Jaakko Soininen (Managing Director, Finnplay) will join the Going Dutch: A Great Opportunity, But at What Price? panel to examine the pros and cons of the new regulatory model.
The track will conclude with two sessions looking at the potential for online casino operators offered by the prospect of regulatory changes in Latin America and some US states. Both panels have been scheduled to be during the working day in the markets being discussed.
Sharing their insights of the biggest emerging market opportunities and the progress towards regulation in Latin America will be Monica Rangel (Head of PT Markets, 888), Zeno Ossko (CEO, BetWarrior), Stavros Karagkounis (Co-Founder and General Manger, Fogobet), Roberto Regianini (CEO, FBM Digital Systems), and Cecilia Paolino-Uboldi (Director of International Business Development – Global Casino Operations, Carnival Corporation).
The Changing States: US igaming on the March? session will feature experts including Fintan Costello (Managing Director, BonusFinder.com), Adam Noble (Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer, Playstar Casino), and James Myles (Analyst, ETA Delta) examining what the future holds for the online casino industry in America in the wake of its success in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the recently-launched Michigan market.
CasinoBeats Summit takes place on 14-15 July 2021 in an innovative integrated live and digital format, with a select group of senior executives attending in person at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta and a global audience of industry professionals joining a parallel online edition.
