SBC announces Road to Betting on Sports America - Digital webinar series slated for November

Events and media company SBC has announced the Road to BOSA-Digital (Betting on Sports America - Digital) webinar series, which will deliver deep-dive discussions around the crucial issues facing the sports betting industry in the U.S. and offer a preview of the conference agenda for the BOSA-D event on Dec. 1 & 2. 

Each webinar in the series conducted throughout the month of November will be co-produced with one of SBC’s strategic partners. The series is intended to begin in-depth discussions on some of the topics that will be further debated at the BOSA-D virtual conference and expo.

The series kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at 9 a.m. PST/Noon EST with the Betting Brands = Good Business for Teams and Venues. BOSA-Digital media partner Front Office Sports will join forces with SBC on the webinar. The discussion will center on the influx of betting brands into the market and how they have helped to open up revenue streams and strategic alliances for teams and venues like no other vertical before.

The second installment of the Road to BOSA-Digital webinar series will be Data Collection Among Sports Betting Consumers on Wednesday, Nov. 18 @ Noon ET, when SBC joins forces with event partner National Sports Forum for a discussion on data collection among sports betting consumers. 

This webinar will cover the technologies being used and how strategic partnerships with betting companies have opened up a treasure trove of data for teams and ownership groups.

The third and final installment of the webinar series, The Rise of SPACs in Sports Betting Industry, takes place on Thursday, Nov. 19 @ 2:30 ET and will focus on the rise of SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies).

The session will be a joint production with BOSA-D investment and banking partner Truist Securities. 


The use of SPACs is a clear sign of the growth potential within the U.S. market and this webinar will look at the long and short-term implications for the industry.
